I’m drawn to the human aspect of design. My superpower is my ability to connect with people, to listen and understand their needs and challenges. I am driven to solve problems in the world and I’m passionate about helping others do the same.

During my time in the trenches as an elementary school teacher, I strengthened my virtues of patience, collaboration, creativity, and grit - traits that have proven equally useful in my design work. I believe that creating transformative products and services requires putting people first, just as great teaching requires putting the needs of your students first.

Outside of work, you’ll find me keeping up my Spanish streak on Duolingo, indulging my love for travel, pretending to be a Chopped contestant each night at dinner, or sneaking cuddles with my goofball pup!
